I love the rain On your face And when the trouble starts I give my heart to you 'Cause you got a face That can erase A thousand million sad songs And when the trouble starts I give my heart to you 'Cause I love the rain Every day And it's all open to you And should anyone remove me from you 'Cause I love the rain Yes, I love the rain Every day 'Cause you got a face That can erase A thousand million sad songs 'Cause you got a face That can erase A thousand songs And it's all open to you And no-one ever told me that I wouldn't feel it too And little by little you cross the room But should anyone remove me from you I love the rain I love the rain And when the trouble starts I give my heart to you Give my heart to you Give my heart, gonna give my heart to you I will be yours, and where you will be mine 'Cause I love the rain, I love the rain, I love the rain

When I get scared I surround myself with Pictures of lions and mercury If I can't chase these ghosts out of my head I think I'll just love 'em instead Well I'll give you something to care about Yes I'll give you something to hurt about Let's make a deal You make it beautiful, again I hope you're doing the right thing Don't take his money if you don't love him Look at him drawing his houses with eyes He's helpless and you're just using Well I'll give you something to care about Yes I'll give you something to hurt about Let's make a deal You make it beautiful, again Yes I've seen you before You're the girl who pretends you don't hurt Well go to the back of the bar And stand on your chair And yell I don't care Well I'll give you something to care about Yes I'll give you something to hurt about Let's make a deal You make it beautiful, again You make it beautiful We make it beautiful We make it beautiful We make it beautiful, again

Bone Dry 04:10
Ten thousand stories high Painting pictures with your eye Pick your star out for the night And slick your hair back in the style Oh won't you give me some time to tell you Why my answers are bone dry Ten thousand stories high Playing witchcraft in the sky Pick your star out for tonight And shave your hair back really tight Oh won't you help me explain my wicked ways They wanna get you high I think I'd better get you home Before your slippers turn to stone You've wasted the good part of you for too long And I think it's time you let it go Oh won't you take me away from this one Can't you tell me apart from those kinds Oh won't you reveal your feelings on this one Or are they a little bone dry Bone dry Are bone dry Bone dry Well there's always something sayin' you're crazy Yes there's always something getting in the way And I don't know if you can hear your mother sayin' You'd better get a grip You'd better put it away Cos you're home right now Yes you're home right now La la la la La la la la la la La la la La la la La la la la la la La la la La la la la la la La la la

about

Released in late 2005, 'I Love The Rain' was the 2nd single taken from the 5th studio album, 'Snow White'. Features the single version of 'I Love The Rain' plus three rare B sides, 'Something To Care About', 'Bone Dry' and the heart pumping 'Johnny Loves Sarah'. Fun fact: 'I Love The Rain' was a song Adalita wrote about her cat, Thurston, who loved music and would show her approval of songs she liked by doing a lap of the rehearsal room. Check out the video for 'I Love The Rain' here - youtu.be/MlAVcGqSigA, made by award winning director, Glendyn Ivin (Puberty Blues - TV series, Beautiful Lie, Offspring, Last Ride) and shot in the desert region of Broken Hill.
