about

Released in mid 2007, the hard hitting, super heavy 'Beast' was one of the very first releases on Magic Dirt's independent label, Emergency Music. 'Beast' is a 7 track mini album released in tandem with the noise concept album, 'Roky's Room'. Noteworthy: the video for 'Bring Me The Head Of...' was directed by Glendyn Ivin who did their 'Pace It' video back in 2002. ' Bring Me The Head Of...' was shot in an old abandoned warehouse in Brunswick, Melbourne. You can watch it here: youtu.be/RWnBrgQ1yxI. It also features on 'The Emergency Music Videos' DVD comp also available for purchase through Bandcamp. 'Beast' also contains another rendition of 'Sucker Love', originally recorded for the 'Locket' single back in 2005.
